This map shows some of the history of race relations between the U.S. and other countries. Americans have developed most slurs after receiving an influx of immigrants from particular countries or regions. For this reason, Italy is a notable standout in Europe.
Americans have created more slurs for black people than any other group, shown by the dark color of most of Africa. In contrast, North Africa is considered part of the Muslim world, and thus is the target of anti-Islamic hate speech.
Anti-Hispanic slurs account for the coverage of the entirety of Latin America. However, the proximity of Mexico to the U.S. and the history of immigration issues has resulted in additional ethnic slurs targeted only at Mexicans.
War between the U.S. and other countries has caused additional ethnic slurs. This is most noticeable in Asia, where Japan, North and South Korea, and Vietnam — all countries the U.S. has been to war with — are all shaded darker than other East and Southeast Asian countries. Similarly, Iraq sticks out in the Middle East likely due to the Gulf War and Iraq War.
Data comes from the long list of ethnic slurs on Wikipedia. Though it may not be entirely accurate, the results capture some idea of the sentiment for other ethnicities in America.
